Mountain House directors have sought a permanent general manager since ML Gordon's contract was voided in August after a prolonged medical absence.
Interim General Manager Rich Ramirez, who was hired to the post December, said in a telephone interview Friday, March 1, that more than 60 applications have been submitted since the .
“I am very pleased with the number (of applicants),” Ramirez said. “We are getting close, and I am very optimistic we will have a general manager in the early part of April.”
He said the Monday meeting will include recruiting firm Peckham & McKenney of Sacramento, the company overseeing the general manager search.
The board will see the names of every candidate, but will likely rely on Peckham & McKenney’s the top recommendations, Ramirez said.
Directors are expected to narrow the field to about 10 people, he said. The board is scheduled to conduct in-person interviews March 18 and 19.
