The Tracy High wrestling team’s three undefeated seniors remained unbeaten Tuesday night, as 12th-graders Jacob Beaman, Blair Bergmann and Travis Silva each improved to 8-0 in 2007-08 with pins while the Bulldogs defeated host Edison, 45-18, in Stockton.
“We handled them pretty good,” said Tracy coach Darryl Rond, whose squad will face off against Turlock on Friday night at home.
Beaman’s pin came in the second round, giving the 140-pounder eight pins on the year. Bergmann and Silva also recorded second-round pins.

West in Oakdale Invitational
At the Oakdale Invitational on Saturday, the Wolf Pack’s Alvaro Tellez took first place in the 215-pound weight class. Jeff Collins was third in heavyweights, and Adam Green went 3-2 to take fourth place at 130 pounds. Aaron Foote was sixth at 140 pounds.
The Wolf Pack took 10th place out of 21 teams.
“We looked good, and hopefully we can improve,” said West coach Ed Carlos, whose team’s lineup is yet to be solidified. “If we can’t man up and take care of grades and come to practice, we’re going to have a long season.”
