Send the right message

EDITOR,

Judging by the letters I have read regarding Felicia Crowton of Tracy being chosen to be in “Playboy,” a green-eyed monster called envy has reared its ugly head in Tracy. What is wrong about a woman who can rear four children and still have a body trim enough to turn heads?

Some say she is sending the wrong message to her children. I say, wrong.

If she chooses to take care of herself, exercise and eat right, more power to her.

For those condemning her for her actions, it sounds like jealousy to me. If your derrière is several sizes too big, you can’t wear revealing cloths because of stretch marks, your legs look like a road map because of varicose veins, your breasts sag and you have two or three chins, what kind of message is that sending to your children?

Earl Jess, Tracy
