Gold softball tryouts

The California Grapettes’ 18-Gold fastpitch travel softball team is looking for self-motivated players for all positions. Tryouts will be Aug. 12, 19 and 26 at Arnaiz Field in Stockton. Pitchers and catchers try out at 9 a.m., and all other positions at 10:30 a.m.

New softball team

The Tracy Express Titans competitive softball organization is looking for players for a new 12-and-under team. Many positions are needed. Tryouts will begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Middle School.

K Baseball tryouts

K Baseball Academy will host tryouts for its fall season Higher Learning Travel Baseball teams. Fourteen- and 15-and-under players can try out from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3402 Mars Court, Ste. 102.

Cost is $25.
