EDITOR,
Every hour someone is newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Despite decades of study, the causes of this disease are still unclear and there is no cure.
I am 33 years old. I have multiple sclerosis that affects my life every day. I live in constant pain from muscle spasms to constant nerve vibrations. Help me raise awareness about this chronic disease.
I’m urging our representatives in Washington, D.C., to support the $15 million defense appropriation for MS research funding through the congressional-directed medical research programs.
