Bring on the champions.

The Little League District 67 Tournament of Champions kicks off today in Manteca, with six local teams — the Tracy Major, Minor and Junior American and National teams — in action.

For the Minors, the action will get local and personal very quickly — the two Tracy teams square off in the first round at 11 a.m. today. The Rockies represent Tracy National, and the Mariners advanced from Tracy American.

In the Majors, the Yankees will seek a return to the TOC title game — but instead of seeking a game against the Major National Marlins, last year’s TOC winner, they’ll be looking to play the Major National Rockies. The Yankees play at 2 p.m. against Salida, while the Rockies play Lathrop at 5 p.m.

For the Juniors, American champion Orioles meet Spreckles Park at 4 p.m. at Weston Ranch High, and the National Padres meet Salida at 10 a.m, also at Weston Ranch.
