A Hayward police officer accused of having sex with underage boys has pleaded not guilty to charges of oral copulation with a minor and intimidating a witness.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported Thursday that Jeff Cristofani, 41, of Tracy, entered the plea at the Hayward Hall of Justice on Thursday morning. He is free on $250,000 bail and will appear again in court June 12 for a pretrial hearing.

A prosecutor for Alameda County said Cristofani faces three counts of oral copulation with a minor. One of those counts is reportedly based on a January 2000 incident in Tracy, and the other two incidents reportedly occurred in Hayward in 1997 with another teenage boy.
