Former Tracy High women’s basketball standout Susie Swenson has closed out a three-year career at UCLA. She finished her senior year with a 14-point average with a single-game high of 30 points against Kentucky.

Services have been conducted for Tony Esenarro, 57, a well-known Tracy barber and seed salesman. For 20 years he and his father, Julian Esenarro, operated Julian’s Barber Shop on B Street.

Dubrin Lloren and Tim Coykendall have been named co-winners of the most valuable wrestler at Tracy High. Lloren finished second in the state wrestling tournament, and Coykendall finished fourth.

Tracy Community Theatre is opening its production of Neil Simon’s comedy, “Barefoot in the Park,” at Emma Baumgardner Theater on the Tracy High campus.

Soprano Yvonne Gotelli Petrig was the featured vocal soloist during a concert sponsored by the Tracy Concert Guild. She was accompanied on the piano by Ernest Robertson.
