Tracy police arrested Kevin Paul Rose, 29, on Wednesday in connection with a 10-year-old child molestation case.

Police said Rose went into a Tracy home in 1996 and sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl. New evidence in the investigation helped police obtain an arrest warrant for Rose, who was apprehended at his job site in Sacramento.

He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp on suspicion of kidnapping, false imprisonment, child abduction, lewd conduct with a child, rape by a foreign object and burglary. He was held on $108,000 bail.
