Born Oct. 4, 1985, in San Jose, Mr. Escamilla moved to Tracy with his family in July 1993 and attended Poet Christian and West High schools.
He played baseball, basketball and football at West High and also participated on several traveling teams.
Mr. Escamilla completed an apprenticeship through Associated Builders and Contractors of California and was a journeyman painter.
Survivors include a daughter, Cinnamon K. Escamilla of Tracy; parents, Daniel G. Escamilla Jr. and Elena V. Escamilla of Tracy; a brother, Daniel G. Escamilla III of Tracy; a sister, Laura E. Dundas, and her husband, Samuel J. “Jake” Dundas, of Tracy; two grandparents; and three nieces and a nephew.
Saturday’s service will begin at noon at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.
