A resident on the 800 block of Cobalt Circle reported returning home just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, to find a dark blue Subaru parked outside his residence.

According to the resident, the man inside the vehicle was wearing a badge and allegedly told him to get away because he was an undercover officer.

A Tracy police dispatcher confirmed that the man had previously notified police that he would be in the area.
