Kenya is a Merle Australian shepherd who was rescued from the Tracy Animal Shelter. One of her eyes is less developed than the other, and she is likely blind in that eye. Kenya is learning how to heel and loves to go to the park to run and play.
She has a mild temperament and does very well inside the house. She is doing well with her foster mom’s dogs and does OK with confident cats, but she really likes people’s attention.
Through the month of December, East of Eden also offers a reduced adoption fee on all cats and kittens. The fee this month will be $60 for one or $100 for a pair.
• East of Eden is a nonprofit animal rescue organization. Its volunteers are at Petco, 2888 Grant Line Road, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For information: 815-5186.
