Brighter Christmas volunteers will put out barrels in front of about 200 businesses this week for people to drop off donated toys. Donations should not be wrapped.

Brighter Christmas is a nonprofit organization that ensures poor families in Tracy have gifts under their tree and a turkey dinner on the table for Christmas. Last season, the group gave three gifts to a record 1,445 children and food baskets to 640 families.
