Photographers meet

The Tracy Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Safeway Community Room. New members are welcome to stop by and see work from local photographers. Members will review a book and talk about subjects for future meetings.

Easter Star officers welcomed

Joaquin Chapter No. 348 Order of the Eastern Star will install new officers at a

3 p.m. ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 11. The 91st annual installation will be at the Tracy Masonic Temple, 1601 N. Tracy Blvd. The installation is open to the public. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony. New officers will serve year-long terms.

Incoming officers include the following: Worthy Matron Leslie Routt, Worthy Patron Leland Routt, Associate Matron Katie Nielsen, Associate Patron Dave Blundell, Secretary Denise Armstrong, Treasurer Gloria Plummer, Chaplain Dennis LeClert, Marshall Sue Ohlendorf and Adah Sue Chambers.

Other officers are Zelma Ladendorff as “Ruth,” Peggy LeClert as “Electa,” Cliff Byard as warder, Bryan LeClert as sentinel, Dorothy Gorr as prompter, flag-bearer Brian Musich and Beverley Byard.

The installing team is made up of Jim Whiteley, Zelma Ladendorff, Peggy LeClert, Dennis LeClert, Mary Jane Woodruff, Virginia Williams, Karen Nuccio, Jack Ruble, Gerri Minor, Walter and Dorothy Gorr and Carolyn Ridge.
