Meet Delilah, a 3-year-old Australian shepherd-Queensland mix. With a tri-colored coat and warm brown eyes, she’s a beauty, and she’s looking for a home.

The Tracy Animal shelter also has  a pair of friendly pooches and a passel of cats and kittens ready for adoption:

• Rascal, a male Jack Russell mix, is just 4 months old.

• Louie is a neutered pit bull who shelter workers describe as “very nice.”

• Sasha is a 3-year-old spayed tortoiseshell cat.

The shelter always needs donations of canned cat food and cat toys.

As a reminder, pet owners are asked to keep identification on their pets all the time. Most animals that end up at the shelter, workers say, don’t have any ID and don’t get rescued.

The Tracy Animal Shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For information: 831-6364.
