Jackie Stefl will marry Rich Bettencourt in a ceremony today at The River Mill in French Camp.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeanne Stefl of Tracy and John Stefl of Danville. She graduated from Tracy High School in 2000 and attended school in Fresno, majoring in interior design. She works at a mortgage firm in Fresno.

The groom-to-be is the son of Rich and Darlene Bettencourt of Vernalis. He graduated from Tracy High School in 2000 and from California State University, Fresno, with a degree in construction management and an emphasis in architecture. He is a project manager for Darden Architects in Fresno.

The two have known each other since they were freshmen in high school. He proposed to her on a beach in Maui, Hawaii, at sunset last August.
