Tracy police received 362 calls for service Friday, Jan. 18, to Sunday, Jan. 20. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:33 a.m.: A 32-year-old man was arrested outside SaveMart, 2005 N. Tracy Blvd., for reportedly driving under the influence.
4:32 a.m.: Trash cans were reportedly dragged around at Larsen Park, 1401 S. Central Ave., by someone driving a Chevy Silverado with its lights off. Police cornered two people on the property and made two arrests. They also recovered a statue that was allegedly stolen from the park.
5:08 p.m.: A 33-year-old man was arrested at the Stone Pine Apartments, 277 W. Grant Line Road, for allegedly possessing a controlled substance and violating his parole.
12:18 a.m.: Blood was drawn from a 30-year-old man who was arrested on Eighth and C streets for allegedly driving while drunk.
10:25 a.m.: The catalytic converter on a Toyota Sequoia was reportedly stolen while its owner was inside WinCo, 2850 Pavilion Parkway.
8:27 p.m.: A man said someone in a puffy green jacket grabbed $250 out of his hand near the Chevron at 3775 N. Tracy Blvd. and walked away from the area. Neither the caller nor police found the man.
11:43 p.m.: A man riding a bicycle reportedly tried to punch another person in the head near Tracy Boulevard and Whispering Wind Drives after he was refused cigarettes. Police arrested a 29-year-old man matching the description of the suspect for attempted robbery. The charges indicate the victim might have been a bus or taxicab driver.
3:45 a.m.: Police arrested someone who refused to leave the emergency room at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, 1420 N. Tracy Blvd.
8:12 p.m.: Security detained a 30-year-old man at the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road, when he became combative after refusing to leave. Police were called to assist.
