The annual pageant, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Tracy, is scheduled March 30 in the auditorium at Kimball High School, reported Bob Haupt, chairman.
He said each candidate must be a junior in a high school in the Tracy Unified School District this year, graduating in 2014, or live in the Tracy area. A B-average minimum GPA is recommended.
“Home-schooled students living in the Tracy area are also eligible as long as a transcript is provided,” Haupt said.
Deadline for applications is Jan. 27, the pageant chairman said. Forms can be obtained from school-activities directors or by emailing bizzywiththree@comcast.net.
An orientation meeting for candidates’ parents is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 27 at Triple Threat Performing Arts, 4220 Commerical Drive. Parents will receive information about the program and what is expected of candidates.
