A portrait at Columbia State Historic Park earned kudos during Tracy Camera’s Club’s November meeting.

The photo, titled “New Sheriff in Town,” was taken by Ruben M. Rocha during a family camping trip. The model is Robert S. Rocha, his father.

He said the image was shot in color, converted to black and white and digitally painted.

• The Tracy Camera Club meets at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month on the second floor of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave. For information: Mickey McGuire, 835-6758 or elmicky@coreyfro.com.
