The South Side Community Organization will install new officers at its annual dinner meeting Feb. 9.
The Saturday program will begin at 6 p.m. with a ho-host bar, followed by dinner, installation of officers and entertainment by Nuestra Herencia Mexicana Ballet Folklorico.

The organization, which sponsors community programs primarily on the city’s Southside, is also accepting new members for 2013.
Regular meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at Guadalupe Community Center, 126 W. First St.
Annual dues are $30 for an individual and $50 for a family of two adults and any children younger than 18.

TLAC selling tickets for crab feed
The Tracy Latin Athletic Club will host its annual crab feed Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Masonic Temple, 1601 N. Tracy Blvd.
The evening, which raises funds for the TLAC scholarship program, will begin at 6 p.m. with a no-host bar, followed at 7 p.m. with a crab dinner featuring fresh Dungeness crab, pasta, salad and French bread. Mike Bacchetti and crew are preparing the meal.
Door prizes and a 50/50 raffle will be featured. Music will be provided by the Alma Tropical Latin Rhythm Band.
