Officers responded to the residence shortly after 1:30 a.m. when the homeowner thought she heard noises outside of her garage. She believed someone was trying to open her garage door and locked herself in a bedroom.
When officers arrived, they checked the area around the garage and found no signs of an attempted break-in.
In the backyard, however, police located two raccoons they believed were responsible for making the noises.
Tracy police received 152 calls for service Monday, Jan. 14. The following is a sample of those reports.
12:21 a.m.: Police arrested a 37-year-old man for an outstanding warrant from Lodi. Officers discovered the warrant during a pedestrian stop on the 2100 block of North Tracy Boulevard.
3:50 a.m.: Two teenage boys allegedly ran out of Chevron, 755 S. Tracy Blvd., with several items before paying. They were last seen running west on Schulte Road. An employee described them as being white and about 17 years old. One teen was tall with blonde hair wearing a dark jacket, while the second teen had dark hair and was wearing a dark jacket. The business wanted to press charges if the teens were caught.
12:33 p.m.: An occupant at the Hacienda Inn, 639 W. 11th St., reported being kicked and beaten in the parking lot of the motel. Paramedics responded when the victim said he had a head injury and might need stitches. He accused a maintenance worker at the motel and at least one other person of attacking him. The log indicates that police officers spoke with a woman and that blood was found on a window.
8 p.m.: Officers arrested a man who was allegedly jumping in front of vehicles on Tracy Boulevard and Valpico Road. The man was arrested for being intoxicated in public and was taken to the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
8:31 p.m.: A 54-year-old man was arrested outside of Home Depot, 2461 Naglee Road, for petty theft. He was taken to San Joaquin County Jail.
9:47 p.m.: A resident on the 1800 block of Scotchpine Court reported waking up to the screams of his son when he was stabbed once in his upper thigh. The son was reportedly being uncooperative with police at the scene, thought, it’s believed that the mother of his child was responsible for the stabbing. A 17-month-old child was inside the house at the time, the log states. Officers documented the incident, but the log did not indicate an arrest was made.

they can and will put up a VICIOUS fight this pretty-much goes for any wild animal that's hungry and looking for food, RATS,MICE,SQIRRELLS,even CROWS!!!!! One of our cats had a fight with something out in the backyard one night and got pretty torn up with bites and some flesh torn away from his neck,He survived but,He had to wear a neck-cone while the area healed-up. Could've been an expensive trip to the vets!!!!!
