Mr. Enriquez was born Sept. 27, 1949, in Kerrville, Texas, and moved as a child to San Jose, where he lived for many years. He moved to Tracy in 2006.
Survivors include Sonia Rodriquez, whom he raised as a daughter, and her family; seven siblings, Mary Enriquez of Tracy, Larry Enriquez and Connie Payan, both of Ceres, Sylvia Herrera of Turlock, Elsie Telly of Riverbank, Art Enriquez of Modesto and Jesse Rodriquez of Porterville; 29 nieces and nephews; and 52 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his companion of 35 years, Frank Reza; parents, Sofia and Daniel Enriquez Sr.; a brother, Julian Enriquez; and one niece.
Burial will be at noon Friday in Oak Hill Cemetery, 300 Curtner Ave., in San Jose. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements, and a guest book can be signed at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
