Ms. Schroeder, 57, was born Oct. 5, 1955, in Sunnyvale and worked about 20 years for Hewlett-Packard in the Bay Area.
She attended the Lakeside Chapel in the San Joaquin River Club and served as the church’s pianist for several years.
Survivors include her partner, Steve Bracey of Tracy; a son, Brandon Phillip Schroeder of San Jose; and several cousins.
Her parents, Glen and Chrysteen Phillips, preceded her in death.
A memorial service was conducted Dec. 23 at the Lakeside Chapel.
