A private service has been held in Tracy for Mary Magdalena Torres, 82, a longtime Tracy resident, who died Dec. 13.

Mrs. Torres was born Jan. 10, 1930. She lived in San Francisco before settling in Tracy more than 30 years ago.

Survivors include her husband, Manuel Torres Sr. of Madera; and 10 children, Mary Yolanda Garcia of Tracy, Jesse Vargas of Rohnert Park, Connie Vargas of Tracy, Danny Vargas of San Francisco, Gustavo Zavala and Javier Zavala, both of Monterey, Charlotte Torres Quintanilla of San Francisco, Rosalie Torres Larez of Madera, Manuel Torres Jr. of San Francisco and Silvia Ruiz Rodarte of Tracy.

Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many other relatives.

One grandson preceded her in death.

I miss you mom, I miss your hugs when I'd go visit you, I hear your voice in my head everyday, I love you, you knew that because I told you everyday. I know I'll see you in heaven, so..for now mom, "I'll see you later".
