• David Andrew “Dave” van Almelo Sr., of Tracy, a retired U.S. Navy hospital corpsman chief, died Dec. 20 at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. He was 59. Graveside services with military honors will begin at 2 p.m. Jan. 7 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Road, in Gustine.

• Nordean Allan “Dean” Fraser, 65, a longtime Tracy resident, died of lung cancer Dec. 18 at his home. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Jan. 4 in the chapel of Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Inurnment with U.S. Air Force honors will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.
