Mr. Jesuitas was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Tanay, Rizal, Philippines, and had lived 12 years in Tracy, where he was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.
Before retiring in 1994, he worked 16 years as a truck driver for Betts Spring Co. in San Leandro.
Survivors include four children, Roland Jesuitas, and his wife, Tessie, and Rowena Aiken, and her partner, D.J. Walters, all of Tracy, Reden Jesuitas of Hayward and Rose Hernandez, and her husband, Chicho, of Oakland; two siblings, Luvy Jesuitas and Letty Jesuitas, both of Oakland; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 50 years, Norma “Nora” Jesuitas, who died in March 2010; a sister; and three brothers.
A prayer service, including a recitation of a rosary, will begin at 6 p.m. Friday in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Visitation will be observed from noon to 6 p.m. that same day. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Philippines.
