This affectionate cat, a domestic mediumhair, is housetrained and likes to jump up onto a friendly lap. Mr. Jingles is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. As a black cat, he is also eligible for Animal Rescue of Tracy’s Black & White Ball promotion, which discounts his adoption fee to $25. Black or black-and-white kittens have a $52 adoption fee. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall. Members will also make arrangements to show animals in rescue during the week. For information: 642-4324 or
