Betty Henson, 73, of Mountain House, a former Tracy resident, died Saturday, Dec. 8. A celebration of her life is scheduled for Feb. 2. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements, and messages for the family can be shared at

• Former longtime Tracy resident Ann Edwards, 81, of Manteca, died Friday, Dec. 7. Services begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery. A guest book can be viewed and signed online at

Donald Wayne Brown, 61, of Tracy, died Thursday, Dec. 6, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Arrangements were handled by Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., and services were conducted Monday, Dec. 10.

• Former Tracy resident Ella Jeane Stroud, 92, died of kidney failure Dec. 5 at Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale. Visitation will be observed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Stroud’s name may be sent to an animal shelter or rescue center of the donor’s choice.
