Two men accused of murdering Anthony Sosa Jr. had their case continued to late January in San Joaquin County Superior Court on Monday, Dec. 10.

Samuel Inguanzo, 19, of Tracy, and Manuel Pelayo, 20, of Stockton, were ordered back to court at 10 a.m. on Jan. 28 for further arraignment in Stockton court, according to Deputy District Attorney Tori Verber.

In January, she said they will begin the process of setting a jury trial that is expected to take place in the spring.

The two men are accused of killing a 23-year-old Tracy man, who was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds on the corner of Walnut and 11th streets in the early morning hours of Feb. 4.

Inguanzo is charged with premeditated murder, street terrorism, accessory after the fact, carrying a concealed firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, prior felony convictions and discharging a firearm during a felony.

He is being held in San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp on $2.9 million bail.

Pelayo is charged with premeditated murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, discharging a firearm during a felony, intentional and personal discharge of a firearm, street terrorism, carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a loaded firearm.

He is being held in county jail on $4 million bail.

Both men were indicted on the current charges by a superior court grand jury on Oct. 22.
