The five homes toured this year have been decorated for the holidays by local designers, artisans and florists.
Among the featured homes is the home of Division Chief Steve Hanlon of Tracy Fire Department and his wife, Adelina, which showcases a tree decorated with vintage ornaments.
Co-chairwoman Gail Gabbert said a crowd is expected.
“It’s tradition to kick off the (holiday) season,” Gabbert said. “We have so many people coming year after year.”
The tour will begin with refreshments at Windmill Ridge Winery, 8350 W. Linne Road, where guests will receive maps to the participating homes.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $30 per person, $25 for seniors, at the McHenry House office, 739 A St., and at Owl Box, 8010 W. 11th St. Participants can also get their tickets at Windmill Ridge at the start of the event for $35 per person.
Each participant will also be entered into a raffle to win an iPad. Ticket holders can also buy tickets for a raffle of his and hers Beachcomber bicycles.
