Mr. Colondres was born Feb. 10, 1948, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and moved his family and his business, G C Transmissions, from Hayward to Tracy eight years ago. He opened the business 15 years ago.
He was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Odette Colondres of Tracy; his mother, Luz Rosado of New York; nine children, Maria Colondres, and her husband, Lionel Murillo, Ivette Colondres and Doris Colondres, all of Manteca, Jose Colondres, and his wife, Karya, Guillermo Colondres and Jose Luis Colondres, all of Tracy, Ana Colondres of Chicopee, Mass., Luis Colondres, and his wife, Yolanda, of Orlando, Fla., and Madeline Colondres, and her husband, Luis, of Mexico; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are seven siblings, William Colondres, and his wife, Filomena, Josefina Colondres, Yolanda Colondres, Carmen Colondres and Andy Colondres, all of Puerto Rico, Antonio Colondres of Massachusetts and Leticia Chand of New York; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his father, William Colondres; a sister, Awilda Colondres; a brother, Freddie Colondres; an uncle; and three cousins.
Friday’s Mass will begin at 1 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North St., in Manteca, followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.
Visitation was observed Thursday, Nov. 29, at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave.
