A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 30, for Jorge Sousa Felix, 87, a 46-year Tracy resident. He died Nov. 22 at his daughter’s home in Stockton.

Mr. Felix was born Aug. 29, 1925, in Madeira, Portugal, and worked as a forklift operator for Yandell Trucking and Owens Illinois Glass Co. He was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and a member of IPFES and Unidos of Tracy.

Survivors include five daughters, Maria Ferreira, and her husband, Manuel, and Isabel Harden, and her husband, Steve, all of Stockton, Paula Madden, and her husband, John, and Anna Robinson, and her husband, Mark, all of Tracy, and Evelyn Beraldo, and her husband, Tony, of Washington state; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are four siblings, Augie Sousa, Moises Felix and Eugenia Teixeira, all of Tracy, and Cecelia Felix of Portugal.

Friday’s Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.

Visitation was observed Thursday, Nov. 29, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., and an online guest book can be viewed and signed at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
