Lucilla Marie Nuce, 65, a longtime Tracy resident, died Nov. 17 at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Graveside services will be private.

Mrs. Nuce was born March 20, 1947, at the hospital in French Camp and graduated from Tracy High School.

She worked at the defense depot in Tracy and for the state of California. She also spent many years as a private caregiver, including several years with Comfort Keepers, until her own illness forced her to stop.

Survivors include her former husband of 42 years, Leonard Nuce; three children, Troy Hanes of Tracy, Lance Nuce of Oakland and Lacey M. Nuce of Manteca; a sister, Wanda (Darr) Gentry of Lawrence; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William H. and Genevieve Elizabeth Darr; a sister, Mary Ann Anderson; and a brother, William Allen Darr.
