The Bulldogs (12-5 overall, 6-4 SJAA) beat Bear Creek (8-12, 4-6) 3-0 in Stockton on Monday, Oct. 29, with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-17, to wrap up the season.
Junior Julia Jurado led the Bulldogs’ scoring effort with 11 kills and also had five digs, and sophomore setter Mika Fithian had 22 assists. Junior Jill Finney made seven kills, senior Angela Mariani had five aces and five digs, and sophomore libero Casey Eddy had eight digs.
Next up for Tracy is the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II playoffs — the first round begins Friday, Nov. 2. Tracy’s first-round opponent had not been announced as of Tuesday, Oct. 30, but the Bulldogs, because of their third-place seed in the league, will most likely play on the road .
Tracy’s freshmen finished with a 2-0 win over Bear Creek. Ali Davis led in service points as Tracy (12-5, 7-3) won it with scores of 25-17, 25-17.
Kimball 3, Manteca 0
Kimball High finished its league season in third place in the Valley Oak League.
The most recent was a 3-0 win on the road at Manteca High on Monday, Oct. 29, where the Jaguars (12-14-1 overall, 10-4 VOL), beat the Buffaloes with scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-21. Details from the contest were not available.
Kimball heads to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II playoffs, which begin Friday, Nov. 2, against an opponent to be announced.
Kimball 3, Lathrop 0
The Jaguars cruised through their last home game of the season on Oct. 22, against Lathrop High.
Kimball won with set scores of 25-8, 25-17, 25-10.
Junior Courtney Lewis had 12 kills for the night and also had six blocks, and junior Iris Nelson had 13 kills. Sophomore Maddy McLauchlin had 24 assists, and Sara Searle had 11 digs and four aces.
Lathrop won the junior varsity match 2-1, and Kimball won the freshman match 2-1.
West 3, Stagg 0
The Wolf Pack concluded its regular season in second place in the Tri-City Athletic League with a win in Stockton against Stagg High.
West (14-5 overall, 7-3 TCAL) beat Stagg on Oct. 25 with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-17 to finish the league season behind St. Mary’s and tied with Tokay, a finish good enough for a playoff berth.
Senior blocker Joelise Bondo logged 10 kills, six blocks and two aces against Stagg, and senior Kalani Vaughns had 30 assists, 10 kills and six aces. Jalissa Sims made six kills and two blocks; Daniele Schmig had three kills and three aces; Analyssa Eclevia, Merinesa Saaga and Kate Bell had four kills each; and Vanesa Vasquez had eight digs.

West’s sophomore team beat Stagg 2-0 no Oct. 25 with scores of 25-23, 25-21, and Stagg won the freshman match 2-0.
