Tracy police received 140 calls for service Monday, Oct. 29. The following is a sample of those calls.
1:16 a.m.: A portable toilet was set on fire at Hirsch Elementary School, 1280 Dove Drive. The Tracy Fire Department is expected to make a report.
9:56 a.m.: Residents reported that trash and recycling cans at residences on the 1600 block of Bessie Avenue are being tampered with during nighttime hours.
11:56 a.m.: Police arrested a 37-year-old man for allegedly attacking a woman on the 1300 block of West 12th Street. The attack happened the day before, but the victim, who reportedly had bruises and scrapes, called police when the man returned Tuesday. He was taken to the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp on a new charge of spousal abuse and several outstanding warrants from San Joaquin County.
2:26 p.m.: Employees at Cosmos Professionals, 804 W. 11th St., reported a curling iron valued around $40 was stolen from the business.
5:55 p.m.: Police arrested a woman in the area of Sienna Park Drive and Willow Park Lane because she was intoxicated. The woman was sitting in a vehicle with a second person when officers found the pair.
6:19 p.m.: About 12 tires were illegally dumped at Tracy Park Apartments, 2800 N. Tracy Blvd. A black Bronco was seen dropping off the tires in the parking lot.
8:47 p.m.: Police arrested a man for trespassing on the property of Costco, 3250 W. Grant Line Road. The man was allegedly lying in the grass near the front entrance and harassing customers.
