West High students crowned Romeo Francisco and Jordan Workman to reign over their homecoming festivities during a night rally in Steve Thornton Gymnasium on Wednesday, Oct. 24.

The night rally moved to the gym as its new venue as parents and students filled the bleachers to watch the class skits and club performances.

The homecoming theme, movies, had each class celebrate a different cinematic classic — “Grease” for the senior class, “The Wizard of Oz” for the juniors, “Star Wars” for the sophomores and “Transformers” for the freshmen.

The gym was dimly lit with spotlights and strobes as students danced on the gym floor.

Homecoming festivities conclude for the year with the parade through downtown at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct.26.

The Wolf Pack will face the Edison High Vikings after the parade, with sophomores taking the field at 5 p.m. and the varsity game starting at 7:15 p.m.
