Tracy police received 132 calls for service Thursday, Oct. 11. The following is a sample of those calls.
1:28 a.m.: Police arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly possessing stolen credit cards following a traffic stop on the 400 block of Helen Avenue
2:16 a.m.: Someone was reportedly in a woman’s backyard and trying to get into her daughter’s bedroom on the 4100 block of Middlefield Drive. The woman said it could be the daughter’s former boyfriend. Police detained two people, but no further information was provided.
6:25 a.m.: A man said his son was trying to kill his daughter on the 2300 block of East Grant Line Road. He kept saying “please send help.” Police searched the area but couldn’t find the address the man gave.
8:42 a.m.: A church official said someone donated a counterfeit $10 bill at Solid Rock Christian, 523 W. Larch Road.
9:34 a.m.: Police arrested a 20-year-old man for an outstanding warrant for carrying a concealed weapon on the 500 block of Sequoia Boulevard.
11:24 a.m.: A man’s said someone took his vehicle’s rims on the 2000 block of Florentine Way. The man suspected his neighbor.
1:27 p.m.: Someone broke into a house on the 2100 block of Holder Lane, and the woman there said the owner was outside and all of the doors were open. Police are investigating.
3:21 p.m.: A 13-year-old asked a neighbor for help after she and her aunt returned home to the 2300 block of Tennis Lane and found water running inside the house and the alarm missing. Police are investigating.
3:45 p.m.: A woman said someone stole her purse out of her car behind Spencer Floor Covering, 154 W. 10th St.
4:33 p.m.: Two boys were seen fighting near Poet Christian Elementary School, 1701 S. Central Ave. Police found it was a fight between foster brothers.
4:52 p.m.: Five-hundred dollars worth of clothing was reported stolen from a laundry at Driftwood Apartments, 950 W. Grant Line Road.
5:16 p.m.: A counterfeit $10 bill was reported at Grocery Outlets, 825 W. 11th St. The woman who allegedly tried to pass it left before police arrived.
5:31 p.m.: A woman’s car was reportedly broken into at Costco, 3250 W. Grant Line Road.
5:49 p.m.: A car was found with slashed tires on the 1100 block N. Tracy Boulevard.
8:23 p.m.: A resident said someone broke into the house that she was housesitting on the 900 block of Constitution Way. She said the house was ransacked. Police are investigating.
