U12 Milan wins Champions Cup in Manteca

The Alternative Futbol Club U12 boys Milan soccer team of Tracy won the premiere division title in their age group at the Stockton Monarchs Futbol Club Champions Cup, held Sept. 29 and 30 in Manteca.

Milan opened with a 2-2 tie on Saturday with Ajax Green and followed with a 3-2 win over Butte Heat. Sunday’s games included a 3-1 win over Atlas Merced, and a 7-1 win over Stockton Monarcas Tarascos.

Team members include Angel Miguel, Christopher Barron, Julio Fuentes, Gilbert Fuentes, Eduardo Gonzales, Leonardo Hernandez, Selena Alvarez, Nathan Negrete, Estevan Murillo, Zachary Kelsey, Tyler Gaudreau, Carlos Oliva, Emiliano Olmos, Alexis Vera, and Carlos Terriquez.
