West Coast Soccer Club’s U10 girls Fury brought home another championship cup to the club’s trophy case by winning the 2012 Ajax Fall Invitational tournament at Mistlin Sports Park in Ripon, on Sept. 29 and 30.

The team went 4-0 for the weekend as they battled top ranked premier-level teams from Northern California.

The Fury team, including Tracy players Jamie Conklin, Alina Garcia, Alyssa Garza, Kourtney Kessler, Allison Rickman and Trinity Sandridge, shut out all opponents over the weekend, including a 3-0 win over Central California Soccer Alliance in the final for the tournament win.

West Coast Soccer’s U14 girls Wonder, a new team coached by Troy Dayak of Tracy, won the Ajax Fall Classic tournament title in the 10-team silver division, making it the second tournament win for the team.

Miciah Madison of Mountain House contributed to the Wonder’s 6-0 championship game win against Barcelona from Nevada with a second-half goal.

Local players Erica Diaz and Alexis Redens played defense for Wonder as the team shut out three of four opponents, including the Tracy Futbol Vipers, and the Central California Soccer Alliance, and also beat Argentina Fresno Soccer Club 5-1 in pool play.

West Coast Soccer’s U16 girls Katz finished the Ajax Invitation in second place in the premiere division, finishing with a 3-1 loss to Central California Soccer Alliance.

Abby Dyer of Tracy scored the Katz’ only goal in the game as the teams played to a 1-1 tie in the first half, and CCSA scored two in the second half to win it.

Katz also beat Bullard Futbol Club 3-0 and East Valley Futbol Club 2-0 in pool play, and beat American River Futbol Club 4-1 in the semifinal. Team members also include Tracy players Victoria Garza, Taylah Nusser, Taylor Boren and Samantha Reich.
