Mary Jane Mullens, 94, a 15-year Tracy resident, died Monday, Oct. 1, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. All services will be private.

Mrs. Mullens was born Dec. 12, 1917, in Wichita, Kan., and worked 20 years as a nurse at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield, where she also attended Bakersfield Community Church before moving to Tracy.

Survivors include three children, Margie Cosme of Tracy, Karen Vaughn, and her husband, Michael, of Ventura and Gary Cameron of Bakersfield; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Clarence Cameron, after 31 years of marriage; second husband, Ralph Mullens, after 20 years of marriage; two sons, Tom Cameron and Richard Cameron; and three siblings, Twy Gilliland, Margie Weiser and Vivle England.

Burial will be private in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

Contributions in Mrs. Mullens’ name may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
