According to Lt. Dave Sant of the Tracy police, a white man, likely 25 to 35 years old, entered the 7-Eleven, 2360 W. Grant Line Road, at about 1:14 a.m. and asked the clerk for lottery tickets and cigarettes.
When the clerk returned with those items, the man allegedly pulled out a handgun.
Sant said the gunman allegedly told the clerk, “Give me all the money.”
The gunman took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, along with the lottery tickets and cigarettes.
The man is described as 5-foot-2, 175 pounds, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and long black shorts as he ran south from the store parking lot.
No injuries were reported during the robbery.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 831-4550.
