Armed robbery at MacArthur Drive market

Investigators from the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a Latino man who they believe robbed the Carbona Food and Liquor Market on South MacArthur Drive on Saturday, Sept. 29.

According to a sheriff’s report, the robbery at the 28323 S. MacArthur Dr. market occurred at 10:52 p.m.

The alleged robber is described as Latino with short black hair, brown eyes and a clean shave. He is approximately 25 to 27 years old, 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds with a medium build.

Investigators believe he had a semi-automatic handgun and took an undisclosed amount of cash and miscellaneous groceries. He was last seen walking south on MacArthur Drive wearing a blue denim jacket, blue jeans and sneakers.

No injuries were reported.
