Investigators from the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a Latino man who they believe robbed the Carbona Food and Liquor Market on South MacArthur Drive on Saturday, Sept. 29.

According to a sheriff’s report, the robbery at the 28323 S. MacArthur Dr. market occurred at 10:52 p.m.

The alleged robber is described as Latino with short black hair, brown eyes and a clean shave. He is approximately 25 to 27 years old, 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds with a medium build.

Investigators believe he had a semi-automatic handgun and took an undisclosed amount of cash and miscellaneous groceries. He was last seen walking south on MacArthur Drive wearing a blue denim jacket, blue jeans and sneakers.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about the robbery should call the Sheriff’s office at 468-4400.

The information about this would have been more helpful if it had been posted FOUR days ago.

Yer right, anyone seein this could have fergotten all about it before bein reminded it happened four days ago.

Who ta blame fer this? Oh let's just blame it on George Bush. How about th City Council? Better yet th Mayor or Mike Maciel?

Tracy Press prints th information when they can, who knows what caused th delay. But I would thank that a good citizen witnessin somethang like this or who knows somethang about this would have had th initiative an common sense ta contact th sheriff's department about this before before this article of news was printed. What da ya think?

OOPS! Is that bein dismissive? Sorry, it wasn't really intended ta be.
