Kimball tallied a season-high team score in a 238-330 win Tuesday, Sept. 18, over Weston Ranch at Old River Golf Course. The Jaguars also won by default over Lathrop, which took only three golfers to the meet.
“The girls are starting to realize that to shoot low scores, you have to chip and putt well, and they have bought into improving their short game,” said Kimball coach James Tiffany.
Leading golfer for Kimball was Taylor Honnoll with a score of 41 on the par-36 course. Lydia Nolen scored 45, Lilly Craig 47, Maya Crooms 51, Savannah Dunniway 54, Patricia Fabila 61 and Hafsa Mir 64.
Lodi 212, Tracy 283
Lodi High’s golf team continued its dominance of the San Joaquin Athletic Association with the win over Tracy (4-5, 2-3 SJAA) on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club.
Top golfer for Tracy (4-5, 2-3 SJAA) was Jennifer Kim with a score of 40 on the par-37 course. Tracy’s other scores against Lathrop (4-0 SJAA) were Kirsten Bas’ 49, Annie Fox’s 64, Alee Balanon’s 64, Hunter Andrade’s 66 and Amanda Vazquez’s 74.
St. Mary’s 239, West 323
West High’s Wolf Pack golf team (1-2, 1-1 Tri-City Athletic League) lost to St. Mary’s on Tuesday at Stockton Golf and Country Club.
The leading golfer on the par-36 course for West was Ashley Gonzales (56). Also golfing for West were Samantha McCain (63), Bobbi Loggins (67), Ashley Aguilera (67), and Vanessa Nunez (70).

Tracy High’s golf team got back on track after a couple of league losses with the win over Chavez on Tuesday at Swenson Park Golf Course in Stockton.
Senior Jennifer Kim led Tracy (38) on the par-36 course. Other scorers were Shelby Devlin (48), Annie Fox (51), Rachel Haro (52), Alee Balanon (57) and Amanda Vasquez (62).
