This rat terrier puppy, 3½ months, likes to play with her toys, run and jump outside and nap on a friend’s lap. Her housetraining is progressing rapidly, according to Animal Rescue of Tracy volunteers, and she is comfortable in her crate. She plays well with other dogs, both large and small, but she does not like to be around cats. Pippa is dewormed and has had her puppy shots, and the cost for her spaying is included in her adoption fee. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has weekend pet adoption fairs at the West Valley Mall. This Saturday, a fundraiser yard sale will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at VCA Old River Animal Hospital, 520 W. 11th St.; for details, see this week’s Datebook wrap. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
