The Tracy Buccaneers traveled to Riverbank High on Saturday, where all four Buccaneer teams recorded shutout victories over the Riverbank Raiders.
The starts (5-0) beat the Raiders 31-0, with Tyson Dawson leading the offense with 170 yards. Dawson, Mason Rivera, Cody Lammerts and Blake Sherbino all scored touchdowns for the Buccs.
The rookies (4-1) beat the Raiders 45-0. Trevor Pope and Tavio Meeks scored two touchdowns each and Tai Fetui, Alfred Robinson and Theodore Williams also scored touchdowns.
The junior varsity Buccs beat the Raiders 25-0 with two touchdown runs from Cesar Ruiz and a touchdown run Aidan Quinn. Daniel Turner also threw a touchdown pass to Justice Roque. JV team is now 3-2.
Andrew Maroulas ran for 120 yards, including three touchdown runs as the varsity Buccs (4-1) beat the Raiders 31-0. Samuel Rodriguez had eight tackles and James Jones had seven tackles and an interception.
The Tracy Junior Bulldogs hosted the Stockton Northwest Trojans on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Kimball High.
No score is kept at the junior novice level, but the Tracy team recorded three touchdowns for Kevin Chavolla, two for Noah Denau and one each for Eric Gordon Jr. and D.J. Jones. On defense, Jabari Vaughn forced three fumbles and had five tackles.
The Trojans won the novice game 33-6 to put the Bulldogs at 1-3. Tonino Ambriz scored the Bulldogs’ touchdown and Bradley Maddox had eight tackles.
The junior varsity Bulldogs (4-0) beat the Trojans 40-6 with 496 total yards on offense, including two touchdown runs for Kristien Reyes, and one each for Yaqin Said and Evan Hoyt. Josh Wallwork threw touchdown passes to Josh Alvarado and Drew Tavares.
The Trojans won the varsity game 38-6, which puts the Bulldogs at 0-4. Cody Bolton threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Noah Pajarillo, who also had nine tackles and a sack on defense.
The Tracy Cougars hosted the East Stockton Yellowjackets on Saturday, Sept. 8, at West High.
There was no score in the junior novice game, where the Cougars’ Alijah Gandall was his team’s rushing leader with 86 yards. Trevor Yeager had 17 tackles, and Zion Jones had an interception.
The Cougar novice team (2-1) beat the Yellowjackets 19-7. Devon Roberts ran for two touchdowns, and Jordan Harvey ran for a touchdown. Defenders Kaleo and Kainoa Ballungay, Kyle Gibson and Damon Lomas stalled the Yellowjacket offense.
The Yellowjackets won the junior varsity game 36-0, which puts the Cougars at 0-3. James Cannon and Marcelus Rice led the Cougars on offense and Mason Sarsfield, Thomas Walter and Bryce Shelton led the defense.
The Yellowjackets won the varsity game 28-6, to put the Cougars at 1-2. Cougar quarterback Brody Sarsfield ran the ball for 78 yards and Marquez Vaughn led the defense with 11 tackles.
Mountain House Hurricanes hosted the Big Valley Sabres from Modesto on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Questa School.
There was no score in the junior novice game. Justice Chase and Morgan Andrade scored the team’s three touchdowns and Noa Kahoonei, Darian Umana and Dylan Chirco were the top defenders.
The Sabres won the novice game 39-19 to put the Hurricanes at 1-3. Timothy Cantu II ran in two touchdowns, and Keanu Estrella-Trujillo added another. Christian Rosas-Bustrian, Keanu Estrella-Trujillo and Ryder Carver led the way on defense.
The Sabre junior varsity shut out the Hurricanes 42-0. Wake Widner had a 60 yard kick-off return and 100 yards rushing for the Hurricanes (0-4).
Panther Youth Football
The Panthers went on the road on Saturday to play the Hughson Huskies at Hughson High School.
There was no score in the junior novice game. Damien Boozer reached the end zone for the Panthers, and defenders Anthony Gomez, Donovan Marquez, Jailin Benton and Tony Romano protected the Panther end zone.
The novice Panthers (3-1) beat the Huskies 38-18. Micheal Chavez ran in three touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass to Tyler Morrison, and Simeon Sims ran in two touchdowns. Linebackers Isaiah Carrol, Simeon Sims and Adrian Villareals all had five tackles.
The junior varsity Panthers (2-2) beat the Huskies 24-6, with Michael Chesser scoring all four Panther touchdowns.
The Huskies won the varsity game 32-0 to put the Panthers at 0-4.
