The popular coffee destination at 1857 11th St., near Togo’s sandwich shop and Safeway, is undergoing extensive renovations, according to construction workers at the business Tuesday, Sept. 11.
All interior equipment and décor have been removed to make way for updated equipment and furnishings.
“It’s getting all-new equipment,” said the worker, who did not give his name, as he looked over the construction plans outside the shop in the café seating area.
The Starbucks site near the corner of 11th Street and Corral Hollow Road opened in April 2002. Its reopening has been scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15, workers said.
