Tracy police received 174 calls for service Monday, Sept. 10. The following is a sample of those calls.
2:16 a.m.: Police arrested a 26-year-old woman for an outstanding drug-related warrant following a pedestrian stop near English Oak Avenue and Windsong Drive.
8:19 a.m.: A 2012 Hino Bobcat was reported stolen from Accurate Delivery Service at 355 Enterprise Place. The earth-mover was found undamaged at 1:39 p.m., but its location was not revealed in the log.
9:05 a.m.: A Spanish-speaking woman told police she found something next to her dog’s bowl after returning from taking her kids to school on the 200 block of West Third Street. She asked for an officer to take a look. It was determined to be rat poison, and the woman was advised to take precautions.
9:57 a.m.: A store clerk reported a man harassing an employee at Ross, 2483 Naglee Road. She said the man was following the woman around the store. He was gone before police arrived.
10:28 a.m.: Police issued a verbal warning to the owners of a recreational vehicle that was parked on the 1300 block of Citadelle Street with a power cord running from it.
1:22 p.m.: A man was reportedly taking shopping carts from Mi Pueblo, 3225 N. Tracy Blvd. The caller didn’t want the man prosecuted, but wanted police to counsel him against taking carts in the future.
2:26 p.m.: Police recovered a stolen bicycle after a caller reported seeing a man taking his neighbor’s bike near Bridle Creek Circle and Lowell Avenue. The caller told police the alleged thief appeared to be a teenage boy was going toward Corral Hollow Road. Police tried to contact the bicycle owner to see if he wanted to prosecute the teen.
5:33 p.m.: A caller on the 900 block of Traditions Street reported someone throwing rocks over her fence broke her window. She said she saw several teens on nearby railroad tracks throwing rocks.
5:39 p.m.: A caller reported someone stole the tailgate off his 2004 Chevrolet Colorado at the Park and Ride lot, 2650 Naglee Road.
5:54 p.m.: A caller reported a man stole a city garbage can from Harrison Customs, 2260 N. MacArthur Drive. He said the man was seen in a storage unit next to the business, but the only thing missing was the garbage can.
10:50 p.m.: Police arrested a 34-year-old man for an alleged auto theft after a vehicle stop near Larch Road and Tracy Boulevard. The car was reported stolen out of Hayward.
10:54 p.m.: A caller reported a woman stole his Ford F150 after he gave her a ride to the Shell gas station at 3725 N. Tracy Blvd. He said she drove away when he got out of the truck.
11:15 p.m.: Police arrested a 26-year-old man for allegedly possessing stolen property following a traffic stop at Buthman Avenue and Hawthorne Road.
11:24 p.m.: A motel clerk reported that a person who had rented a room at Microtel Inn, 861 W. Clover Road, took the television from the room.
