A woman told police she was out for a walk and a man walking with a grocery cart had his genitals sticking out of his pants near Joseph Damon Drive and Orchard Parkway at 7:04 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6. She said he left the cart and began to follow her. She told police she ran home and called police to see if they could get fingerprints off the cart. Rain and dew made gathering prints impossible, police said.

Tracy police received 176 calls for service Thursday, Sept. 6. The following is a sample of those calls.

5:45 a.m.: A girl called 911 to report her mother was injured on the 500 block of Cardoza Road. She told police through a Spanish translator that her mother was dying. Police found the girl’s mother had fallen in the bathroom, and an ambulance was called.

7:56 a.m.: A caller reported a brass fixture was taken off a water main at Motion Industries, 1325 N. MacArthur Drive, and water was pouring into the road. Police arrested a 31-year-old man for possessing stolen property and booked him into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp. It was not disclosed if his arrest was related to the theft.

8:34 a.m.: A caller told police he found an arrow next to his front door on the 700 block of Marie Angela Drive. Police checked and found it was a child’s plastic toy.

9:15 a.m.: A caller reported someone broke into a residence on the 2300 block of Holly Drive.

11:22 a.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for vehicle theft on the 100 block of East 11th Street. The arrest occurred after a caller reported a woman tried to steal his truck. She was booked into county jail.

12:44 p.m.: Police arrested a 37-year-old man for an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop at Big Lots, 2681 N. Tracy Blvd. The warrant was to revoke county supervision of the man following his incarceration.

3:21 p.m.: A man told police his 2001 Toyota truck, laptop and portable air conditioner were missing on the 300 block of Garden Court. He said he thinks his son took the items.

3:40 p.m.: A caller said someone punctured a tire and scratched her car on the 2100 block of Deborah Street.

4:03 p.m.: Police arrested a 21-year-old man for an outstanding warrant following a pedestrian stop on the 100 block of East Eaton Avenue. The charge of the warrant was not disclosed.

5:35 p.m.: Police arrested a 57-year-old man in central Tracy for domestic violence. He was booked into county jail. The arrest occurred after a woman called to report her husband hit her in the head with an open hand.
