• Dominic Adam Johnson was born to Kimi and Emmanuel Johnson of Tracy on Aug. 29, 2012. He was 6 pounds, 12 ounces when weighed at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Dominic is the baby brother of Marquise Johnson. His grandparents are Jean Sweatt, Tim Johnson, Thomas Johnson and Betty Johnson, all of Tracy. His great-grandparents are Lowell and Linda Sweatt of Tracy, Georgia Harper of Tracy, Feliciana Hernandez of Sunny Side, Wash., and Robert Sells of Santa Rosa.

• Nathan Scott Silva, the first child of Kristin and Michael Silva of Tracy, was born Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center of Modesto. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 22 inches long. Nathan’s maternal grandparents are Michele Glover Hill of Patterson and the late Scott Glover, and his paternal grandparents are Rosa and Gilbert Silva of Tracy. His maternal great-grandparents are Sue and John Reedy of Oakdale. Maternal great-great-grandmother Ruth Behr also lives in Oakdale.
